Thomas Fund

Louise Duda, whose brother Scott Thomas was a resident in our Maywood Group Home, made a contribution to Spectrum for Living in memory of their parents Jeanne and Thomas Thomas. The donation established the Thomas Family Staff Development Fund. The fund is used to provide specialized enhanced training seminars for the program directors of our group homes. The Thomas Family Fund allows us to offer our staff opportunities to broaden their horizons and learn the newest skills for working with persons with developmental disabilities. Well trained staff provides better, more sensitive and more creative services to our clients. The Fund is an expression of confidence in our staff and an investment in well-being of our group home residents.
